IDA: 2013 Camera of David Awards & 2015 Oscar

Congratulations!

The 13th Warsaw Jewish Film Festival will take place from November 2nd to 8th, 2015 at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. This year festival is dedicated to the late Mike Nichols.



As usual the event will have its main Jewish subject focus on the new and the best productions of the international film scene. Our competition program will be giving out 12th Camera of David awards in total exhibit in a few competitive sections (CAMERA OF DAVID AWARD).

We are already waiting for your movie! We accept movies with Jewish subject and year of production no longer than 2 years. Suitable category of movies: Feature Documentary, Short Documentary, Feature Narrative Film, Short Narrative Film, Feature Animation, Short Animation.

Submission deadline is September 5th, 2015.

Bia³ystok

As part of the series of year-round screenings organized by the Warsaw Jewish Film Festival and held under the patronage of the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, on February 23, 2015, Krzysztof Kamil Baczynski High School in Bialystok hosted an educational screening of a documentary A Town Called Brzostek. The showing of the film directed by Simon Target, which received Special Mention at the 12th Warsaw Jewish Film Festival, was coupled with award-winning The Shadow Forest by Andrzej Cichocki (Best Short Narrative at the 12th WJFF). The project was carried out in cooperation with the Center for Civic Education Poland-Israel.

THE PROJECT IS HELD THANKS TO THE SUPPORT OF THE BANK ZACHODNI WBK FOUNDATION WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE BANK OF AMBITIOUS YOUTH GRANT PROGRAM.
